[RSCD] NL for May 6, 2004
Welcome to another addition of the Rebel Squadrons Commando Division\'s Newsletter, home of the best newsletters in the Rebel Squadrons.
NEWS:
SUPER MULTIPLAYER COMPETITION
The RS has been working for a while to set up another Outer Rim style competition. Although no official starting date has been set we are looking at somewhere between the end of this month and mid June. To get this completion off the ground though some help is needed. Here is what they need:
-Volunteers to be refs/ops during the comp
-Volunteers to write a kick ass bot
-Volunteers to be \"news reporters\", to get a different take on the event
-Volunteers for number crunching and data input
If you are interested in offering your support in one of these positions please contact RA Gavin Kravis at fc@rebelsquadrons.org
ROC LEADERSHIP CHANGE:
ADM Kaz Falcion has recently stepped down as the RSCD Training Officer (ROC CO). COL Zeke Freeman has been appointed as Acting ROC CO. This means this position is currently open. If you are interested in stepping up to the plate to help get our new members active in the RSCD so we can get more and more fun activities to do, or just be a mentor to these new members, and/or help set-up the ROC to make it a fully functional Undergrad academy for the RSCD than this is the job for you. If you are interested (or have any questions about it) Please contact Aidyn, Zeke and Myself.
Osiris Outcasts and Raven Squadron Leadership needed:
LCL DashClone has asked to step down from both his leadership positions. He will hold on to them for a short while till a replacement is found. If you are interested in a Squad or Wing leadership please contact Aidyn and Myself for more information.

Jedi Outcast Week of War (WoW)
1 am EST May 7 until 1 am EST May 14
WoW matches are played on the Microsoft Gaming Zone against others clubs and clans. To participate you must be signed up with Battle Stats
(http://www.battlestats.com) and a member of the Rebel Squadrons Team. The RS team id is 2054. After making sure you are a
member of battlestats and of the RS battlestats team head over to the Zone and log on to the JO gamming room. Look for a game called wow, WoW or any other game with the acronym wow in it. The password for the game is wow. Matches are reported onto the battlestats.com web site. for more detailed information on the WoW please contact your squadron leader and check out

4 pm Saturday April 7
Held in #outerrim on the Undernet against other clubs. Same format as the RSCD Weekly Melee.
Possible Awards for the ICTE
- 5 Merit Points for first match, 1 Merit Point per JK, JO and JA match after the first match
- 1 RS wide Merit Point per match
